JAKARTA – Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi menerbitkan ketentuan terbaru terkait pemberian visa kunjungan untuk calon Tenaga Kerja Asing (TKA) yang melaksanakan uji coba kemampuan (indeks visa C18). Kebijakan ini tertuang dalam Surat Edaran
Direktur Jenderal Imigrasi Nomor IMI-453.GR.01.01 tanggal 27 Mei 2025 yang mulai berlaku per Sabtu, 14 Juni 2025.
“Melalui peraturan ini kami harapkan penyalahgunaan TKA oleh perusahaan dapat dicegah. Ada dua poin penting yang kami garis bawahi dalam aturan baru ini. Yang pertama, masa berlaku izin tinggal dari Visa C18 paling lama 90 (sembilan puluh) hari
dan tidak dapat diperpanjang. Yang kedua, orang asing dilarang menggunakan Visa C18 dengan penjamin perusahaan yang sama lebih dari satu kali,” jelas Pelaksana tugas (Plt) Direktur Jenderal Imigrasi, Yuldi Yusman, Jumat (13/06/2025).
Lebih lanjut Yuldi menjelaskan bahwa permohonan Visa Kunjungan Indeks C18 yang telah diajukan sebelum tanggal 14 Juni 2025 pukul 00.01 WIB akan tetap berlaku sesuai ketentuan sebelumnya. Visa tersebut masih terbit dengan masa berlaku paling
lama 60 (enam puluh) hari dan dapat diperpanjang.
Untuk mengajukan visa C18, penjamin (sponsor) calon TKA diwajibkan memiliki akun di portal resmi evisa.imigrasi.go.id. Setelah akun teregistrasi, penjamin dapat mengisi data dan dokumen calon TKA dan submit permohonan visa.
Dokumen persyaratan yang diperlukan antara lain paspor dengan masa berlaku paling sedikit enam bulan, bukti memiliki biaya hidup berupa rekening koran tiga bulan terakhir atas nama Orang Asing atau penjamin, pasfoto berwarna terbaru (setahun terakhir) serta surat undangan uji coba kemampuan dari instansi pemerintah atau lembaga swasta.
“Ditjen Imigrasi berupaya memfasilitasi calon TKA namun dengan menyesuaikan ruang gerak mereka untuk menekan potensi pelanggaran,” tutup Yuldi.
Directorate General of Immigration Updates Visit Visa Regulations for Prospective Foreign Workers in Tryout Phase
JAKARTA – The Directorate General of Immigration has issued the latest provisions regarding the granting of visit visas for prospective Foreign Workers (TKA) who are undergoing skills assessments (C18 visa index). This policy is stipulated in the Circular Letter of the Director General of Immigration Number IMI-453.GR.01.01 dated May 27, 2025, which came into effect
on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
“Through this regulation, we hope to prevent the misuse of foreign workers by companies. There are two important points that we emphasize in this new rule. First, the validity period of the C18 Visa stay permit is a maximum of 90 (ninety) days and cannot be extended. Second, foreign nationals are prohibited from using the C18 Visa with the same company guarantor more
than once,” explained the Acting Director General of Immigration, Yuldi Yusman, on Friday (June 13, 2025).
Yuldi further explained that C18 Index Visit Visa applications submitted before June 14, 2025, at 00.01 WIB, will remain valid according to previous provisions. These visas are still issued with a maximum validity period of 60 (sixty) days and can be extended.
To apply for a C18 visa, the guarantor (sponsor) of the prospective foreign worker is required to have an account on the official portal evisa.imigrasi.go.id. Once the account is registered, the guarantor can fill in the data and documents of the prospective foreign worker and submit the visa application. Required documents include a passport with a minimum validity period of six
months, proof of living expenses in the form of the last three months’ bank statements in the name of the foreign national or guarantor, the latest color passport photo (within the last year), and an invitation letter for a skills assessment from a government agency or private institution.
“The Directorate General of Immigration strives to facilitate prospective foreign workers while adjusting their movements to curb potential violations,” Yuldi concluded.
